Show Office and Registration Desk: Located at Freight Door, Rear of Exhibit Hall.

Minimum Exhibit Space: 10’deep x 10’ wide
If your exhibit is over 12 feet in height or constructed in a manner that would restrict or obstruct the proper operation of the roof sprinkler system, please call the Show Coordinator for information pertaining to the above.
Additionally, any covered booths having a cover exceeding 16 square feet, but not exceeding 200 square feet, shall be protected within by a smoke detector, which sounds a local alarm.

OPEN SHOW PRINCIPLE
We do try to adhere to the Open Show Principle where no neighboring booth is obstructed. Sometimes the exhibit is set up in such a way that this is not possible. If you are aware that your exhibit might obstruct/offend your neighbor, please let us know in advance and together we can solve this dilemma. Often when an exhibitor is given the courtesy of being advised of this possibility it becomes of little consequence and everyone is happy. So let’s communicate in advance. Just a call to the coordinator or your Accounts Executive is requested.

Absolutely NO move-in on Saturday morning

All Exhibits must be finished by 9:00 a.m. on Saturday before Show opening.
|
Exhibitor’s move-out will be permitted for 3 hours after closing Sunday night.
Your move-out MUST be accomplished by 11am, Monday.
In order to accommodate everyone as quickly as possible, we ask that you dismantle your booth first before attempting to bring in a vehicle. No vehicles will be allowed in the hall before 8:00pm, and then it will depend on accessibility and safety.

We are making every effort to make the move-in and move-out process more convenient.
In order to facilitate the move-in process, vehicles are permitted to be
driven into the exhibit hall to your exhibit space:

DRIVE IN VEHICLES: only Thursday 8am-10am

Absolutely NO vehicles will be permitted inside the Hall after 10am
Thursday because the decorator will be setting up drapes and dividers.

Purchase Parking Pass at the Los Angeles Convention Center Customer Service Desk.
Purchase 1 day pass, specific days, or passes for the whole weekend.
Bring your $12 parking ticket plus $8 to the Service Desk when you purchase passes.

Note: In/Out access has a 30-minute time delay between uses.
Fire and Public Safety Rules and Regulations
ON-SITE REVIEW PROCEDURES
Prior to final approval to open the show, the Fire Inspector will conduct a walk-through inspection of the exhibit areas. The Inspector will be accompanied by the Show General Manager, Event Manager or official show designated representative. Any violations noted (that pose a hazard to public safety) will require immediate correction.
All aisles, emergency exits, and life-safety devices shall be kept clear of obstructions at all times once the event opens. Any violations will be brought to the attention of both Show and Facility Management for immediate correction. If, in the opinion of the Fire Inspector, there is an extreme hazard to life, he/she has the authority to delay or terminate the show until the problem has been corrected to his/her satisfaction.
All exit doors serving any occupied area of the building must remain unlocked, in an operable condition, and visible from all areas. Exit signs shall not be obstructed in any manner. All entrances, exits, aisles, stairways, lobbies, passageways, and fire and safety devices shall remain unobstructed at all times. Nothing shall be hung from or affixed to any sprinkler heads or piping. Booth construction must be substantial and fixed in position in a specified area for the duration of the show. Displays, easels, signs, booth carpet and equipment may not be placed beyond booth areas into aisles.
FIRE SAFETY REGULATIONS
Electrical equipment must conform to City code requirements.
| 1. Wiring |
All wiring of flexible cords shall be 3-wire, “hard usage approved”, #14 gauge, grounded type.
|
| 2. Spot/Flood Lights |
Exhibit spot or flood lights must be positioned to be “unreachable” by the public, free from and unattached by any material or fabric.
|
| 3. Electrical Equipment |
All electrical equipment exposed to water/liquids must have ground-fault circuit interrupters.
|

NO SMOKING FACILITY

|
FIRE ALARM PROCEDUES
| 1. ALARM |
Whenever an automatic fire detector device or a manual pull station is activated in the Convention Center, an audible alarm will sound inside the Convention Center building. |
| 2. SECURITY OFFICER. |
Upon receiving a fire alarm signal in the Building Engineer’s office, a Security Officer is dispatched to investigate the activity and report the results. |
| 3. FIRE or SMOKE. |
If fire or smoke is observed by the responding Officer, or a second device is activated, the Building Engineer’s office will announce a building evacuation and alert the Fire Department. |
| 4. EVACUATE. |
Upon hearing the evacuation announcement, please leave the building by the nearest Emergency Exit.
|
| When Seeing Smoke or Fire |
| 1. EVACUATE. Notify others nearby and begin evacuating the area using the Emergency Exit. |
| 2. ALARM. Activate the building alarm system by pulling the nearest alarm. |
| 3. ADVISE. Advise any member of the convention Center Staff of the location of the smoke or fire. |
VEHICLES
Vehicles on display within an exhibition facility shall comply with the following:
| 1. |
Permit for display required: of an internal combustion engine on motor vehicles, boats, aircraft, or heavy machinery. |
| 2. |
Fuel tanks shall not be filled or drained within the building or loading dock area. |
| 3. |
Lock and seal fuel tank openings in an approved manner to prevent the escape of vapors. |
| 4. |
Limit fuel in tanks: Fuel tanks shall not be more than one-fourth full or contain more than
five gallons of fuel, whichever is less.
|
| 5. |
Remove battery. At least one battery cable shall be removed from the batteries used to start the vehicle engine. The disconnected battery cable shall then be taped in order to eliminate the possibility of a spark.
|
| 6. |
Vehicles shall not be started or driven during show hours. |
