There are 4 METRO lines: Green, Blue, Red and Gold. To locate the lines and stations visit the METRO website http://www.mta.net/images/rail_map.pdf The trains run often and usually until around midnight. Directions to The Home Show
at The Los Angeles Convention Center
From the BLUE LINE, disembark at the Pico Station.
A couple of our HOME SHOW staff (including this writer) rode the METRO train to a recent Home Show at the LA Convention Center. We parked FREE! at the Universal Station in the San Fernando Valley and caught the RED LINE headed for Los Angeles. We changed to the BLUE LINE at the Figueroa and 7th Street Metro Center that was headed for Long Beach. From the BLUE LINE, we disembarked at the Pico Station and walked the easy 2-3 blocks to the Los Angeles Convention Center.
On the return trip, we especially enjoyed the relaxation of the train and took a quick cat nap before we reached our stop back in the valley...Carole Ozanian, N.E.C.Website Editor
